Matriculation, Parents & Family Weekend, Commencement, Alumni Weekends
- Recurring annual events related to Matriculation, Parents & Family Weekend, Orientation, Senior Week, Commencement, and Alumni Reunion Weekends (May and June), will be given reservation priority during these periods.
- Catering service requests during these busy periods will be considered based on availability
Holiday Closings
Tufts Catering is open for business for most university holidays during the academic year but will be closed during the following holidays:
- Memorial Day Weekend (Saturday, Sunday, Monday)
- Thanksgiving Day
- Day After Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Eve
- Christmas Day
- New Year’s Eve
- New Year’s Day
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day (if it falls prior to the start of classes)
Recess Period Costs and Procedures
In order to offer services during this period, we operate under modified policies and procedures:
- Winter Recess: All requests must be booked by the first week of December.
- Spring Recess: All requests must be booked at least 14 business days prior to the start of recess.
- We do not have the ability to accept late requests during recess periods.
- All Campuses: $500 food and beverage order minimum. Administrative fees will be applied to recess periods in 4-hour increment
- Some menu items may not be available during recess periods.
