Event Enhancements

Food and beverage prices in the Tufts Catering menu do not include china, linen, stainless steel flatware, or other food service equipment, unless specifically noted. While we offer all of these options, they are not part of the food cost and are priced separately from our food service.

We will bill you for the cost of renting or purchasing any such equipment or accessories if required for your event, plus any applicable vendor delivery charges. Pricing ranges from $4.50 to $20 per person per event. We charge for missing or damaged equipment and accessories at their replacement cost plus a 10% handling fee.


We offer a wide variety of linen and service equipment to support the style of your event. Linens for food and beverage table as well as guest tables will be added to your event, once you have coordinated your table needs with Facilities.

  • Economy Service Table Linen
    • Paper tablecloths $5.00 each. Rectangle only.
  • Standard and Full-Service Table Linen available in standard ivory, white, or black
    • Floor-length linen for rectangular and round tables $20.00–$25.00 each
    • Standard linen napkins $1.00 each
  • Custom-colored and textured linen is available upon request. You will be responsible for the cost of renting the custom linen, vendor delivery charges, and a 5% handling fee. 10 days advance notice is required for any specialty linen.

Enhance Your Event

  • Flowers, balloons, or other decorative pieces for your event are available through our approved vendors. You will be charged for these decorative items plus any applicable vendor delivery charges.
  • Tablescapes that may include china, flatware, menu cards, table numbers, or tea lights: Please consult with your sales associate for options and pricing. 
  • For requests to arrange, store, transport, or otherwise handle decorations that we have not ordered for you, a handling charge of $50 per item applies, per event.
